Beer name: White Rabbit White Ale
Brewery: White Rabbit Brewery
Notes: From the brewery website – “White Rabbit White Ale celebrates the tradition of brewing with imagination and creativity and delivers refreshing hints of coriander, juniper berry and bitter orange, blended with a hefty dose unmalted wheat. Light citrus aromas round out a classic, cloudy white ale with just a gentle hint of bitterness.”
Yes, I quite enjoyed this White Rabbit too! Pours cloudy with a weak straw colour and a small head. You can smell the citrus before your can taste it. Think of coriander and honey while drinking it. Not too hoppy, a little bit of fizz. Very light, very refreshing on a hot summer’s day!
Food Connections: Witbiers tend to go well with seafoods, especially steamed mussels! It can also be served for dessert with crepes – banana or lemon would work well.
